General Info…

When I go-to Vegas, there is a couple of things I look for in a room. I’m a pretty simple young guy and honestly aren’t looking for much in a room. But, I do expect things these things: Cleanliness, View, Operability of the Toilet/Shower, and Comfort of bed. The Luxor exceeds these characteristics and for the price/location on the strip its a damn good deal! Obviously, you know the gimmick the giant pyramid with the big light on the top of it. The genius of this gimmicky design is that all the rooms get a great view of the strip because it doesn’t have multiple buildings or “backsides” like most other hotels. So, we enjoyed a decent view of the strip.

The Toilet Test

IF there is any noticeable debris or stain on the toilet this test results in an automatic failure. Upon inspecting the royal thrown at the Luxor it passed the visual inspection. It wasn’t the most comfortable thing in Vegas but, it was acceptable by all means. There was no problems here and it functioned valiantly throughout the remainder of the trip.

The Rest

The best thing about vegas might just be the insane air conditioning that exist. I always look forward to a room that can actually achieve the 62degrees it claims on the electronic display. This room happened to be one of them. What is better than getting home from a long sweaty night at the hot vegas clubs to coming back to a freezing cold room and jumping underneath the comfortable sheets. For this I love you Luxor. The casino was great with low to mid level requirements for gambling. One of my greatest vegas stories results from a $200 investment into a $10,000+ win at the Luxor so I will always have great feelings for this casino. But, that is a story for another day! Oh, and if you have a group of people you can feel like a big shot and reserve your own table.

Overall, I’d have to recommend this casino for someone looking for comfort in a vegas bargain.
